The Founders Fund hires new administrator

The Founders Fund, Inc. is proud to announce Stacy Lee-Williams has been recently hired as the new Founders Fund Administrator. Originally from New York, Williams moved to Southwest Florida in 2002 and received her small business management certificate from Edison College.

Williams was the Donor Relations Coordinator for Our Mothers Home in Fort Myers and has years of experience with non-profit organizations and fundraising.

Pursuing her passion of diversity and inclusion, Williams is the first certified diversity professional to come from the Hodges University collaboration with the Society of Diversity. She devotes her time to assisting local schools and organizations with diversity training and is involved in many local organizations which include: Elevate Her Initiative by the Women’s Foundation of Southwest Florida, Impact Dunbar Initiative by the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, United Way of Collier County, NAACP Collier County, and several other nonprofits and organizations.

The Founders Fund, Inc., founded in 1991, is a non-profit/tax-exempt charitable organization. Since its inception, over 600 students have been awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. Each spring approximately 25 Collier County students were awarded $8,000 scholarships for college and post high school education. The renewable scholarships have been given in the amount of $2,000 each year to students maintaining a 3.0 average or better in their college studies. This year, scholarships will be increased to $2,500 per year equaling a $10,000 scholarship for new incoming students.
