Preferred Travel of Naples Partners with WGCU for special Joel Sartore event
Preferred Travel of Naples partnered with WGCU Public Media to host three special events, featuring Joel Sartore, a National Geographic photographer. The event was held on March 25. A photography workshop with Sartore was held at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida; a presentation of Sartore’s photography was then held at the Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center; and followed by a Meet and Greet at the Southwest Florida Performing Art Centers’ restaurant Teatro.
Joel Sartore has produced more than 30 stories from around the world as a freelance photographer for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazine and is the founder of the PHOTO ARK; he is an author, speaker and teacher who captivates audiences with his funny and inspiring adventures.
Joel Sartore shared his animal portraits and discussed the many stories behind them in his quest to photograph the estimated 12,000 animal species found on our planet. Sartore has less than 6,000 to meet his goal.
