Wonder Gardens plans WonderWeen Oct. 31

Wondering if there is a safe, outdoor Halloween event that will delight children young and old? The Wonder Gardens is planning a fun trick or treat event with treats and surprises on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Children can explore the lushly landscaped botanical gardens and interact with more than 300 rescued, rehabilitated and non-releasable birds and reptiles while visiting “Gator Sweet Tooth” trick or treat stations throughout the gardens offered by area businesses. In addition, a WonderWeen scavenger hunt and Tic Tac Toe, a pumpkin toss and an educational boneyard with fossils will be offered.
Costumes are optional but encouraged, and the event is free to Wonder Gardens members. Admission is free for children under age 3, $7 for ages 3 to 12, $12 for ages 13-64 and $10 for ages 65+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
