Hope Clubhouse seeking sponsors for March 10 Faces of Hope luncheon

Hope Clubhouse is seeking sponsors for its annual Faces of Hope luncheon to raise awareness and support for adult mental health services in Southwest Florida.

The annual fundraising luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers. Tickets are $75 for adults, $25 for students and $15 for virtual attendees.

With a theme of “Power of the Past – Focus on the Future,” the Faces of Hope event will feature lunch and a keynote address by Joshua Seidman, Ph.D., chief research and knowledge officer with Fountain House, a national organization that spearheaded the Clubhouse movement. The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion with Seidman, Ryan Benefiel, a member of the board of directors for Hope Clubhouse, and Damini Parkhi, a community youth mental health advocate. The panel will be moderated by Andryanna Sheppard of WINK News.

Hope Clubhouse has announced six sponsorship levels with a variety of benefits that include tickets to the event and reserved seating. Title sponsorship is available at $10,000, Impact sponsorships at $5,000, Aspire sponsorships at $2,500, Hope sponsorships at $1,000, Table sponsorships at $500 and Friend sponsorships at $300. Proceeds from the event will support the expansion of Hope Clubhouse, a nonprofit that changes lives by focusing on adults with mental health challenges and sharing resources to help them grow, recover and thrive.

“The need for mental health services is greater than ever, yet we are currently unable to accommodate additional members at our facility due to lack of space,” said Erin Broussard, CEO of Hope Clubhouse. “Funds raised during the Faces of Hope event will support Hope Clubhouse in expanding our 2,700-square-foot building into a 10,000-square-foot facility that can more effectively serve adults in our community who are facing mental health challenges.”

Hope Clubhouse’s evidence-based model provides opportunities for career development, paid employment and access to education, wellness services and housing assistance. As a result, members have fewer hospitalizations, acute episodes and encounters with law enforcement, and are able to maintain housing, employment and improved support systems across every aspect of their lives.
