PANIRA Healthcare now offering free and affordable COVID-19 testing to help keep the community healthy and safe

PANIRA Healthcare is now offering affordable COVID-19 testing with both the molecular rapid test and antibody testing through the support of a Collier Cares Grant. For those who qualify, the testing will be free of charge.

The team at PANIRA Healthcare advises individuals who are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea to consider testing as COVID-19 affects people differently and those infected have had a wide range of symptoms.

COVID-19 symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus and PANIRA Healthcare wants to help those in need get the testing and treatment they need. PANIRA Healthcare Clinic is also equipped to provide ongoing medical care and treatment for those in need after testing.

“As we prepare to welcome seasonal residents, now is an important time to protect yourselves and your employees,” says Geneve Mongene-Egger, RN/BSN, PANIRA Healthcare Clinic. “Please remind your employees and family members to wear a face covering, stay socially distanced, wash their hands frequently throughout the day. We want to help get this terrible virus under control and slow the spread.”

Since 2015, PANIRA Healthcare, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit, has been providing affordable medical care for children, families, and elderly patients in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The walk-in/primary care clinic is located at 4975 Tamiami Trail East in Naples, Florida. For more information, please visit www.panirahealthcareclinic.org.

COVID-19 testing provided by PANIRA Healthcare is financed in part by U.S. Department of Treasury, Florida Division of Emergency Management, and Collier County Community and Human Services Division.

Appointments are required for affordable COVID-19 testing and free rapid tests are being offered during specially designated hours; appointments may be made by calling 239-529-5580.
