Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association to host Cybersecurity Alert panel discussion on Zoom November 18, 2020

Companies and individuals are at a greater risk than ever from online hackers, which can result in millions of dollars in damage and loss. In response, the Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association (SRMA) is proud to present the “Cybersecurity Alert” webinar on Zoom scheduled on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 8 a.m. at no charge to manufacturers or the business community.

Attendees will learn how hackers are infiltrating manufacturing and other business systems, cybersecurity regulation and compliance, and valuable preventative measures to safeguard their company’s assets from cyber attacks. The following industry experts will lead our panel discussion: Marc Farron, IT Specialist with the Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University; David Spire, Chief Development Officer at Entech; and James Ritter, Founder and CEO of Pulse Technology Solutions. The webinar will be moderated by SRMA Board Chair Jeff Poirier and sponsored by Hughes, Snell & Co., PA.

“To address the growing concern of cyber attacks from hackers worldwide, we have brought some of the leading industry experts together to better prepare and protect our manufacturing members and friends in business,” says SRMA Board Chair Jeff Poirier. “As manufacturing continues to grow throughout the state and region, SRMA aims to provide manufacturers with the resources and support they need to succeed.”
