Founded in 1981, the mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida (CAC) is to provide a coordinated response to child victims of abuse and neglect; and improve the lives of at-risk children and their families through prevention services. At CAC, we assess and treat children believed to have been physically or sexually abused or to be at-risk of such abuse, and a provide a safe place for them to come and be heard. We offer abuse determination services as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education and prevention programs in Lee, Hendry, Glades and Charlotte Counties. Collier Resource Center was started to fill an unmet community need. The organization’s mission is to empower the people of Collier County through information, referrals, advocacy and case management. All services are free and confidential. Our employee speaks English and Spanish fluently. We offer a “high touch” experience for our clients who may not have computers, smart phones, or the visual acuity and manual dexterity to use keyboards and small screens. Our team of 15 well trained volunteers work in tandem with our program coordinator. All clients receive a follow up call to determine their satisfaction with our services and with the agencies/organization where they were referred. Our database is HIPPA compliant. Our goal is to reach more people who need assistance navigating the maze of health and human service organizations.

Our Mission:The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is a teaching hospital and visitor education center dedicated to saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education, and conservation medicine.CROW’s Visitor Education Center (VEC) offers a behind-the-scenes look into CROW’s animal care through live camera feeds, interactive displays, and daily presentations by students, staff and volunteers. Each year, CROW cares for more than 6,000 wildlife patients including more than 200 different species of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in its veterinary hospital, which is one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation facilities for native and migratory wildlife. CROW offers educational fellowships and externship programs for undergraduate students, and internship programs for veterinarian graduates. Volunteers are the cornerstone of CROW and each year more than 200 volunteers dedicate thousands of hours helping rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife. What Sets CROW Apart
CROW accepts all native wildlife in need of care including migratory birds and sea turtles.
CROW employs a full-time veterinarian with several years’ experience working with wildlife and experienced wildlife rehabilitators.
